HABIT: Harassment, Abuse, and Bullying Intervention Training is an interactive workshop designed for theatre professionals to meet the state of California’s mandatory harassment prevention training requirements while building safer, more equitable workplaces. Through real-world scenarios, quizzes, and actionable tools like the "Five D’s of Bystander Intervention," participants will learn to recognize, prevent, and respond to harassment, abuse, and bullying—including sexual harassment and discriminatory behavior based on protected characteristics. With a focus on the unique dynamics of theatre environments, this course empowers participants to understand legal obligations, address harmful behavior effectively, and foster respectful, inclusive creative spaces.
